For the second year, Multihull Cup again enlisted Cleanwave to offer free drinking water at its regatta in Port Adriano; and, with the support of North Sails, handed out Cleanwave bottles for all participants. Another clean regatta well done!
The Real Club Nautico Palma took an important step towards a clean regatta by providing more than 1,500 Cleanwave stainless steel bottles to all participants and offering free drinking water with 3 water stations during the Copa del Rey. More than 2,000 liters per day were consumed - single-use plastic free! Thank you RCNP!
On June 15 the Association of Volunteers La Caixa and CaixaBank organized together with Autos Vidal and Palma Aquarium a beach cleaning between Palma Aquarium and Es Carnatge. More than 300 people gathered, including 100 children, cleaning the beaches. CleanWave joined this initiative offering to fill the water bottles to its participants, following the zero single-use plastic philosophy. Thank you CaixaBank and Autos Vidal for taking care of the environment.
A big Thank you to Rialto Living for hosting an awareness event with Cleanwave at their beautiful location. After screening of the award winning 20 minute-version of 'Out of Plastic' buy Line Hadsbjerg, Philipp Baier gave some insight into our daily single-use plastic consumption as well as some ideas for change. It was very encouraging to see the community come together. Yes we can create change!
It was very encouraging to see the increase in recognition and acceptance this year as we attended the Palma Super Yacht Show for the second time. Thanks to the orqanizers as well as our sponsors SOS Yachting and Northrop & Johnson, all exhibitors and visitors were offered free drinking water.
Thanks to the sponsoring of IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts as well as Marinepool, we provided free and clean drinking water during the Trofeo Princesa Sofia in Club Nautic Arenal and Club Nautica Can Pastilla. It was greatly appreciated and used by the participants.
In July 2019, Cleanwave will be hosting an art exposition to raise funds and awareness about the effects single-use plastic has on our environment. ??????
We are collecting art from all over the world with the proceeds from the auction going to install water refill stations in schools and universities in the Balearic islands (for starters). ?????????

The local non-profit Cleanwave is supporting the Travessa de Son Serra de Marina' in their efforts to make the sporting event a single use plastic free one.
With its 600 liter XXL water station, Cleanwave offered clean, fresh filtered water at the yacht club in Son Serra de Marina for free.
Cleanwave was invited to participate in the annual After Work Party of APD, where the trailer of 'Out of Plastic' was played. During the June meeting, the full documentary was screened, followed b y a discussion around sustainabilty and the individual responsabilities we all carry. Thank you APD for inviting us!
